Our Story
Started from a laundry pile
It started the way most good ideas start: with a problem nobody was solving well. We were tired of spending our weekends hauling bags to the laundromat, waiting for machines, folding clothes on tables that hadn't been wiped down since the Clinton administration.
So we asked a simple question: why isn't there a service that just handles this? Pick it up, wash it, fold it, bring it back. No subscription traps, no confusing tiers. Just clean clothes, done right, at a fair price.
We couldn't find one. So we built one.
The Happy Launderer started in Morris County, NJ — serving a handful of neighborhoods with a single driver and a lot of detergent. The idea was simple: treat people's clothes like your own, show up when you say you will, and charge a fair price. That's still the idea.

Today, we serve 20+ towns across Morris County with plans to expand throughout northern New Jersey. We've washed tens of thousands of pounds of laundry, and every single load is treated with the same care as the first one.
We're not a tech company that happens to do laundry. We're a laundry company that uses technology to make the experience better. There's a difference, and we think you can feel it.
